  • Poor customer support and warranty

My wife purchased these gloves for me as a Christmas present on 12/1/2013 due to me having %u201CRaynaud's phenomenon%u201D, where my hands turn white/blue when exposed to the cold. On January 20th of 2014 I returned the gloves and it was determined by Cozy Winters that the gloves were defective so they replaced them, as they were covered under the one year warranty. I also own another pair (that had to be returned as well due to a bad battery connection) so I used those for the remainder of the winter. When I went to use the gloves that were replaced, I found one of the gloves were... More...

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. This company cares only about its wallet - not the consumer. Anything you say on their recorded line will be analyzed to argue against giving your a refund. (Don't say much!) This company's return policy is not at all standard for online shopping companies. It is nebulous and as implemented, it is detrimental to consumers. I ordered heated socks and gloves. I charged the batteries for adequate time. I tried the products on. They provided minimal heat. The day after I received these products, I called and said they ineffectively provided heat and I... More...

  • Awful Exchange Policies--Beware

Looks like I had the same experience many others are having. I ordered a pair of heated gloves as a Christmas gift for my husband--gave them to him early when bad weather set in. The gloves were small for a Medium. I contacted Cozy Winters--my contact was about four days past their 30 day return policy, though in fact, with shipping, I had not even had the gloves 30 days. And, I just wanted to EXCHANGE them for the larger size. I was told I could only get a store credit and there would be deductions: a $20 "restocking fee" and a deduction for the original purchase shipping... More...

  • Wooden Hand Crafted Surfboard Rack

I have found the best wooden hand crafted surfboard rack online from As the company promises, it offered unique and high quality versatile board rack. This is so perfect for storing and displaying snowboards, wakeboards, and surfboards. Now, my room is very well organized, as I place my surfboards on to the rack. I have mounted it on a corner of the wall. It is a handmade rack, which gives a decent and natural look to my room. I am very happy with this surfboard rack. More...

  • Battery Heated glove Purchase

I purchased a pair of battery heated gloves in November 2012. They worked as intended until the right glove started flickering on/off anytime I moved my hand. This happened around June 2013. I called and was told they were still covered under the 1 year warranty. I was sent an email with instructions which meant I had to ship them back to them for repair. This went very smoothly and I received back a a pair of fully working gloves. I was very happy they were covered with a warranty and that it was so easy to get fixed. More...

  • Poor merchandise description and Return Headache

Do avoid this company if you can. I should have read customer reviews before I ordered a ski and snowboard rack with Both racks were identical and when I called to find out whether there may have been a mistake in fulfilling the order I learned that no, it's the same product, but the company markets them as two different things. There are no specifications to the product on the website, which would have helped in the shopping process. After a few phone calls and a long back and forth I asked to talk to a supervisor/manager but was informed that there is no one... More...

  • Cozy Winters- defective battery heated gloves

I received a pair of Zanier battery operated mitts as a gift in Dec 2011. Since that time they have stopped working and I have returned them to have the company confirm that they are defective and Cozy Winters has sent me a new pair. After 3 pairs, the company said this Austrian company has been producing defective merchandise and would I like to try their own product which I did. I am now in their second pair of mitts which have stopped working also. Each time I ship the mitts back to the company it costs me $15. I cannot afford this anymore. The mitts last between 2 weeks and 2 months and... More...

  • lousy products, arrogant customer service

I purchased a pair of heated gloves for $350 from, order #248118, December 16, 2010. They worked moderately well -- NOT great and not anwhere near what their website claimed --for the first four or five times, then stopped working altogether. By then, it was outside the 30 day return period. I sent the gloves back for repair/replacement on January 27, 2011, RMA #TS248118-12944. It is now March 15th, 2011, almost two full months later. The winter is over, and I have yet to receive the gloves back. I spoke with a customer service rep, who told me she couldn't do anything,... More...

  • Nice Company

Last year I ordered a snow shovel from Cozy Winters. I had a couple of questions about the shovel and the customer service team was very helpful. We recently had over two feet of snow, and the shovel still worked wonderful. It is really nice to have a company that has a customer service team to help with questions on products. I would recommend Cozy Winters to anybody. More...

  • Great Pet Heaters

Our dogs love their heated dog bed! They are a soft pad in the summer and allow our little Chihuahuas to live comfortably outside during the cold winter. We were so delighted with the product that we recently bought 2 more as gifts for friends. Their animals love the heated beds too. We have never had a need to contact Customer Service as our orders have been handled smoothly, delivered on time, and worked well. We are happy with cozy winters and our pets are in heaven! Heated dog beds are great. More...

customer service is terrible. returned item purchased for an exchange in size. item returned in original packaging with all tags attached. cozy winters claimed item was worn and not in new condition. they wanted to charge me an extra $50 to exchange for a different size. is this a scam or is someone in customer service trying to build their own little empire? my next step is to file a complaint with BBB and write to the president of the company. i will not buy anything from cozy winters. too bad, it looked like a nice product. • Poor Return Policy

I purchased an Outdoor Heated Thermo-Kiity Camper and Thermo Cube and had these products shipped to my parents for their outdoor cat's use this winter. They set it up for her (how else can we tell if she will use the product), he set her inside it and near the bed, and she would not use it. She jumped out of the bed the couple of times that he set her in it, and at that point, they picked the bed up, took it back inside, and called me. I informed them that the product had to be free of any hair or dirt and they informed me that the cat was barely near it! They were extra particular... More...

I received a heated comforter from Cozy Winters that was suppose to heat from 1 to 9 on the heat controller. The product did not heat at all, there was no difference when setting the dial on 9 or on 1. CozyWinters was telephoned and told the problem Chris did agree to send another and instructed me to return the first one and it would be checked. After receiving the second comforter, which did work better than the first but still not satisfied with the product, CozyWinters was telephoned again but at this time I was told that the item was checked and found that it was working properly... • defective product

Cozy Winters by email and was called told to check with the manufacturer which had very good warrantee service and I did. After three attempts with the manufacturer to get a satisfactory product I gave up and called Cozy Winters to ask for a refund since the manufacturer told me I would have to get a refund from them. I was told my 30 day return period had expired and since I had used warrantee “service” I was not eligible for a refund. I was never told at the time of my initial complaint that if I went the warrantee “service” route that I could not then get a refund... More...
